Onda has presented this morning at the International Ceramics Show CEVISAMA its Ceramic Impulse Plan, Onda Logistic Mediterranean Business Park. This initiative, carried out by the City Council in 2019, was born with the aim of turning the Ondense industrial park into the most competitive in the Mediterranean basin. four years later, Onda It has granted more than 150 industrial licences, which represents a record investment of more than 100 million euros in the municipality.
The person in charge of explaining the project in CEVISAMA has been the mayoress of Onda, Carmina Ballester, who has confirmed that the City Council is already working to expand industrial land with the urbanization of the South-20 industrial estate, since currently there is only 30% of free land left due to the great demand for plots.
Ballester has thanked "the meticulous work of many professionals" to obtain "tax incentives, investments to modernize polygons, constitution of Management and Modernization Entities [EGM] and personalized services".
Thanks to Onda Logistic, the companies that decide to settle in the Ondense industrial park have tax incentives of up to 95%, hiring aid for unemployed registered in Onda of up to 4.000 euros, personalized attention or a business acceleration office so that all licenses and procedures are resolved in record time.
In addition, two EGMs have already been set up, the one at Sur-13 and the one at Nord-2, in the Ondense industrial park, which is a pioneering measure in the province for companies to obtain better conditions.
It should be noted that the government team has completed its ronda of visits by the 40 Ondense companies with stands at CEVISAMA. Regarding these meetings, Ballester highlighted: “The businessmen have transmitted and infected us with their ambition, desire and enthusiasm to continue working hard. From the listening process we draw a very clear conclusion: ceramics have a future”.
Incentives for companies
Install the company in Onda has numerous incentives thanks to the work of the City Council and its project Onda Logistic Mediterranean Business Park:
- Bonus of up to 50% of the IAE to companies for job creation.
- Bonus of 50% of the IAE to companies that use cogeneration.
- Bonus of 95% of the IAE for cooperatives.
- Discount of 95% of the ICIO for those constructions, installations and specific works that are necessary for the incorporation of systems for the thermal or electrical use of solar energy.
- 50% discount for those constructions, installations and works carried out in advanced industrial areas.
- Aid to companies of up to 4.000 euros for a new contract for unemployed people registered in Onda.
