La Municipal Employment Agency Onda Insert has managed to manage a total of 846 job offers just in the first quarter of the 2022, almost reaching the figure for all of 2021, which was 1087. In addition, insertions have also increased compared to last year, being almost 100 neighbors incorporated into the world of work.
Onda Inserta works side by side with companies, offering them the multiple advantages offered by the city and the economy of Onda. In this way, the companies transfer the profiles they need and, all the while, the technicians look for the ideal candidate. This is how the Agency works with the company Imany, a company that has been visited this week by the mayor, Carmina Ballester, and her team.
During the visit, Carmina highlighted the importance of maintaining close relations with companies in the area, since "this is an example of public-private collaboration that results in the creation of quality employment for Ondenses". The first mayor has also taken advantage of the visit to inform the companies about the tax incentives and the lines of aid that the municipal government makes available to them, in addition to the Business Acceleration Office.
Imany focuses its activity on the transport of tile to France, a highly relevant sector in the current scenario. In this line, the consistory has worked to promote the employability of Ondenses through training for obtaining the type C truck license. Thus, the Agency has provided free training, which includes registration for the course, theoretical and practical training, and certification by taking an official exam. So far, more than half of the global computation of the students has obtained the Card C, and the remaining part has passed the theoretical part.
Hiring Grants
The line of Grants for the Promotion of Recruitment was born with the aim of encourage insertion of the neighbors and neighbors of Onda. To this end, the council makes significant financial contributions, of up to $4.000, to those companies that incorporate workers from the city into their team. who belong to the following groups: people with functional diversity equal to or greater than 33%; older than 50 years; people without work experience or looking for their first job; and over 18 years of age at risk of social exclusion.
The amount of the aid, which is retroactive, varies according to the type and duration of the contract, as well as the contracted group. Companies have until September 30 to submit the application through the electronic headquarters of www.onda.es.
