The Tile Museum of Onda incorporates the Alfa de Oro 2023 to its innovation collection

The winning projects belong to the companies Natucer, Gresmanc Group and Neolith

Ballester: "The sector has faced all the adversities with the same as always: more work, more quality and more innovation"

The Manolo Safont Tile Museum in Onda has held the reception ceremony for the three winning projects of the prestigious Alfa de Oro awards delivered in the latest edition of CEVISAMA. From now on, the innovation proposals of the companies Natucer, Gresmanc Group and Neolith will form part of the museum collection.

The event was presided over by the mayoress of Onda, Carmina Ballester and the president of the Spanish Society of Ceramics and Glass (SECV), Alfredo González Peña; together with representatives of the three winning companies.

In his speech to conclude the act, Ballester has valued the resistance of the ceramic industry: "The sector has faced all the adversities with the same as always: more work, more quality and more ambition to innovate and improve. With these values ​​ahead, there is no crisis that can with us”. The mayoress recalled the numerous policies carried out by her corporation to support the tile through the plan Onda Logistic such as the modernization of industrial estates, personalized services, tax incentives of up to 95%, the business acceleration office and hiring aid of up to 4.000 euros per worker.

Winning projects

Natucer has won the award for NATUR-LED, extruded pieces that integrate LED lighting. Gresmanc Group for its solutions for facades and the technological development of the extrusion process to create larger formats and finishes in extruded ceramic. Lastly, Neolith has won the Alfa de Oro award for NEOLITH ICONIC DISING, a large-format, precision-designed glass-ceramic, free of crystalline silicon, with natural veining that synchronizes the digital deposition of atomized compositions and surface design.

It should be remembered that the Manolo Safont Tile Museum has a space to guard and exhibit the winning projects of the Alfa de Oro. Since 1977, it has had around 70% of the award winners in its collection.
