Ballester listens to the companies of Onda and is committed to continue investing in competitiveness and talent

  • Onda Logistic offers the industrial sector the free services of business acceleration, job placement and on-demand training
  • Ballester: "We want to be useful to our companies to advance together in sustainability, employment and quality of life"

City Council Onda remains firm in its commitment to invest in improving business competitiveness and encouraging local talent through the ambitious action plan Onda Logistic. Thus, the municipal government makes available to all companies established in Onda the free services of the Business Acceleration Office, the Labor Insertion Agency, as well as the multiple training actions that it carries out to improve the employability of Ondans, accompany companies on the path of entrepreneurship and innovation and cover job demands with qualified personnel from Ondense.

This strategy adds to the tax benefits that the City Council has activated together with the municipal investment plan, for more than one million euros, to improve services in the 12 million square meters of business land that it has Onda and in which more than 500 companies are installed. In total, the municipal government allocates 10% of its general budget to promoting employment, training and industrial development. The objective is to promote industrial expansion in Onda and attracting new business opportunities that lead to more employment and a better quality of life for the people of Onda.

In this sense, Mayor Carmina Ballester is carrying out a ronda of meetings by the main companies in Ontario to listen to their demands, streamline procedures and add synergies for the industrial and sustainable growth of the city. Thus, this morning Ballester, accompanied by the Councilor for Finance and Employment, Salvador Aguilella, has been able to see first-hand the investment and growth of the Fritta company in Onda, belonging to the Altadia group, a leader in the frits, enamels, colors and inks sector and employing more than 3.600 people in 19 countries around the world.

"We want to be useful to them and add all the potential of our companies to the resources of the administration to grow together as an industrial destination and as a society with more employment opportunities, quality of life and services to citizens," said the first mayor.
