City Council Onda has met with the companies that are part of the promoter commission of the Second Management and Modernization Entity of the municipality that includes the industrial areas of Trencadella, Corral Roig and El Colomer, and who welcome the name of EGM North 2 as it is the northern zone of the industrial areas and the second entity of the municipality.
At the meeting, in which the company awarded the project to establish the EGMs in all the estates of the municipality was also present, Management of Industrial Areas by Romina Moya, SL (Gaindustriales), the Councilor for Innovation, Vincent Bou, has reiterated the council's support for this project and has encouraged the companies to support the creation of the EGM with their vote in the next ratification assembly that will be convened shortly, since the municipal plenary session has already approved the authorization ruling of the Management and Modernization Entity.
Bou took advantage of the meeting to recall that the City Council has several projects in the process of awarding or bidding that will help transform these industrial areas and that they will begin to be seen in this last quarter. "We want to offer the best opportunities to companies so that they can grow and generate new jobs for our municipality," said Bou.
In that sense, the President of the Provisional Board of Directors, Marcos Gaya, from Peruonda GROUP, has encouraged the companies of the three polygons not to miss this opportunity: “We have done a great job being aware that the sector is not at its best. For this reason, the entity has agreed not to start collecting the fees until July 1, but we must now constitute ourselves as an EGM and be able to take advantage of the 1 million euros aid from IVACE to the EGMs next year.
An investment that will only be possible if the Management and Modernization Entity is constituted before the end of the year. For this reason, the idea, according to the general director of Gaindustriales, Romina Moya, is to convene the ratification assembly in a few weeks. “Creating the EGM before December 31 will be eligible for 1 million euros of investment, which means achieving in a single year what would otherwise cost Trencadella, Corral Roig and El Colomer more than 4 years. complete”.
Improvement of industrial estates
It should be noted that the City Council Onda is carrying out a great commitment to promote the development of industrial estates. To do this, it has activated an improvement plan with $1.221.800 which are added to the near 2 million invested during the first half of 2022, with the aim of modernizing industrial areas and providing companies with the best infrastructures and services.
Among the actions to be carried out in the coming months are the change of lighting to LED technology, the installation of flow and pressure regulators, the improvement of signage, the creation of a circuit of cameras connected 24 hours a day with the Local Police; and the construction and refurbishment of a new eco-park in the Sur-13 industrial estate.
