City Council Onda and the ITC-AICE join forces to apply circular economy projects to the industry

El Town Hall of Onda and Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE) have started a joint collaboration to analyze and apply projects of circular economy to the industrial fabric of Ongo with the aim of improving the competitiveness of industrial areas, encourage sustainability and add riqueza to the municipality.

La Industrial Symbiosis promotes the association of companies that develop relationships between them to improve the use of resources and reduce their environmental impacts jointly.

The Deputy Mayor for Youth, Innovation and Citizen Participation of Onda, Vicent Bou, has held a meeting with ITC-AICE representatives to advance the project and carry out an analysis of the resources of the South-13 industrial area, the first in the province constituted as a Management and Modernization Entity (EGM). 

In this regard, Bou has stated: "From this government team we want to work hand in hand with the best partner such as the ITC to be able to develop projects in favor of sustainability". He has also remarked that "we are in a convulsive moment in which we must commit to innovation and to improve the use of resources and reduce their environmental impact".
