Onda adds a new fixed ecopark service in the Sur-13 industrial estate

The new space for selective waste collection provides a service to companies located in the industrial park

Ballester: "We add one more reason to consolidate ourselves as the best industrial destination in the Mediterranean"

Onda will open the doors during the next days of the new ecopark in the South-13 industrial estate, an infrastructure co-financed by the City Council and the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE). This new fixed space for waste collection joins its activity to that located in the urban environment to serve the most remote industrial area. The companies located in this industrial pole will have access to its facilities, promoting responsible and selective recycling.

The new ecopark has containers and containers for all types of trivial, bulky and toxic waste. In addition, there is space for the collection of vegetable, construction and demolition, scrap and bulky waste. Finally, the ecopark also provides a service for the collection of hazardous materials such as electrical and electronic equipment, computers, brown line appliances (image and sound), white line appliances (refrigeration and washing), batteries, standard batteries, X-rays, batteries button, mineral oil, fluorescent tubes, compact lamps and other types of toxic and hazardous waste of domestic origin.

In this regard, the mayoress, Carmina Ballester, who has visited the facility together with the manager of the EGM Sur-13, Fernando Pla, has declared that “this space favors the recycling of waste at logistics centers without the need for long journeys. We add one more reason to consolidate ourselves as the best industrial destination in the Mediterranean”.
