With the commitment to improve the conditions of industrial zones and strengthen the work environment for local companies and workers, the City Council of Onda has successfully completed the resurfacing work carried out throughout 2023. These actions have focused on optimizing the road infrastructure, thus guaranteeing a safer and more efficient environment.
In this comprehensive project, a total area of 25.200 square meters of paving was covered in the different industrial estates of Onda, with the purpose of preserving the integrity of access and circulation routes. This initiative not only seeks to improve the quality of life of residents, but also to enhance the economic development and competitiveness of local companies.
Along these lines, the councilor for the area of public roads and urban management, Vicente Ramón, has highlighted that “the resurfacing works have contributed significantly to the improvement of road infrastructure in the industrial estates of Onda, reducing vehicle wear, improving safety and facilitating business logistics.” Ramón has also noted the City Council's continued commitment to improving local infrastructure, highlighting the importance of maintaining and expanding these efforts to ensure an optimal and sustainable work environment for the future.
Improve polygons
Along these lines, the City Council of Onda has invested a total of 1.914.422,10 euros in the improvement, modernization and provision of infrastructure and services in various industrial estates in the municipality during 2023. Of the total cost, 1.500.000 euros is subsidized by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness ( IVACE) and a total of 328.237,06 euros of investment are own funds.
The actions cover a wide range of improvements, from the implementation of cycle lanes to the installation of vehicle charging points, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial estates.
