La Municipal Employment Agency'Onda Insert ', promoted by the local council, ha increased productivity by 30% management of job offers with the aim of helping neighbors find a new job. The data recorded is more than positive, since, with three months to go before the end of the year, 1.087 offers have been exceeded that were managed during 2021.
It should be noted that since Onda Inserta offers a continuous service of à la carte courses, through which companies can request the City Council to carry out training courses according to their needs. Thus, the Consistory trains residents in those skills that companies demand, obtaining better prepared candidates and with more options to get a job.
In parallel, the City Council offers the facilities to companies that need classrooms or multipurpose spaces to carry out their meetings and training courses, with the aim of providing support; and direct contact is maintained with employers to offer candidates who can fill available vacancies.
In this regard, the mayor of Onda, carmina ballester, has highlighted: “From the municipal government team we are going to continue listening to the requests of the companies with the aim of training the best candidates”. "We want to offer residents all the necessary tools so that they can improve their future opportunities and overcome any selective process", added the first mayor.
New training courses
The Employment Agency, Onda Inserta, has inaugurated the new course with great novelties. In recent weeks, up to eight training actions have been disseminated in order to train Ondenses, develop their skills, aptitudes and knowledge; and help them face the professional world.
In this way, courses focused on the ceramic, logistics and citrus sector have been launched; and training is also being carried out on the use of computer tools aimed at job search.
