Throughout the year 2023, Onda and the Castellón European Business and Innovation Center (CEEI) have continued to comprehensively support entrepreneurs, businessmen and local companies through 'Onda Genera', reaffirming its commitment to business excellence and economic growth in the town. During this period, the advisory service has remained active, provided through an Entrepreneur Service Point (PAE), as well as exploratory interviews, with a total of 94 appointments scheduled. Among the beneficiaries are 40 unemployed people, mainly interested in information about the creation of new businesses, aid and subsidies; 12 people employed, with queries about transfers and subsidies; 14 self-employed workers, with questions about the creation, transfer and expansion of businesses; and others with various reasons and situations.
In addition, advisory bonuses have been implemented, providing personalized services adapted to the specific needs of each user's projects or companies. Along these lines, the Councilor for Employment and Entrepreneurship, Vicent Bou, highlighted: “Onda Genera has played a fundamental role in comprehensively supporting local entrepreneurs and business owners, a commitment that reinforces our drive towards business excellence and economic growth in Onda".
Business training
In addition, group training sessions have been carried out at the new Entrepreneurship and Coworking Center at the Bechí stop, benefiting a total of 46 participants, focused on entrepreneurs and companies with less than 24 months in the market. These sessions have addressed crucial aspects of the entrepreneurial profile and the viability of the project, providing practical tools to raise awareness among users about the importance of controlling the basic points for success in the market.
Likewise, six specialized workshops have been organized that have covered essential topics for business development. These workshops have explored key areas, such as the application of Artificial Intelligence in entrepreneurship, understanding and adapting to changing dynamics in today's markets, creating and optimizing effective business models, understanding the legal and financial foundations for starting and grow a business, the development of interpersonal skills essential for personal and professional success, as well as guidance in the development of realistic and strategic action plans. In addition, it has had the participation of entrepreneurs such as the CEO of NARIA-No one without his daily ration, Kilian Zaragozà; and the manager of ëter Brand, María Moreno, who have shared their experience and given advice to users.
Specific programs
On the other hand, the project 'Onda Regenera', aimed at companies affected by circumstances derived from the pandemic or others, with the participation of 4 people. Business relievers and companies at risk have also been assisted, with the participation of 2 people, demonstrating the versatility of the support provided.
