Onda executes new investments to improve and adapt green areas in the South 13 and South 10 industrial areas

City Council Onda continues with its investment commitment to improve and modernize all the industrial areas of the city in order to add competitiveness to companies and attract new business. On this occasion, the consistory has adapted the green areas of the South 13 and South 10 polygons, transforming them into a pleasant space for rest.

The tasks that have been carried out in these public lots have been clearing and cleaning the undergrowth, adapting the land, planting trees and installing urban furniture such as wooden tables and benches.

Throughout the year the municipal government has made various investments, for more than one million euros, in industrial areas such as the installation of more than 100 fire hydrants to act against fires, tasks of painting and the placement of new horizontal and vertical signage. In addition, the Emergency Coordination Center equipped in order to improve response time both in the city and in industrial estates in case of emergency. In this way, the Local Police can more effectively coordinate operations as well as collaboration with firefighters and State security forces and bodies.

Along these lines, the mayor of Finance and Employment, Salvador Aguilella, has commented that “this municipal government is not going to rest for a minute when carrying out necessary works and improvements in our infrastructures and services for our companies. Because in this globalized and competitive world we need to have the best business environment so that new investments continue to arrive and, with them, more jobs ”.


A commercial action plan Onda Logistic

All these works, which will contribute to the industrial zone having a renewed image and better services, are framed within the action plan Onda Logistic aimed at promoting the competitiveness of the area and its infrastructures. In this regard, in the 2022 budget they have been enabled 500.000 €s initial to continue developing new improvements.
