Onda It already has the first Management and Modernization Entity (EGM) in the province of Castellón in the Polígono Entre Ríos (Sur-13). The Plenary Hall of the City Council this morning hosted the assembly in which, by unanimity of all the attending companies, this association was created with the aim of improving the infrastructure of the polygon, increasing the quality of services and attracting new investments and aid plans and business competitiveness. All this through public-private collaboration with the municipal government, which has already committed to investing 10.000 euros in the EGM, and other administrations.
South XNUMXIt is the first industrial area in the entire province of Castellón, and the fourth in the Valencian Community, which is constituted as an association, under the protection of the Industrial Areas Law approved by the Generalitat Valenciana. In the assembly, most of the business representatives of the polygon have participated, either in person or online, and have ratified, with all favorable votes, the new board of directors that will be chaired by Jose Maria Forero and will have Sonia Cañadas and Fernando as vice-president Pla as manager. In the plenary session on June XNUMX, the municipal corporation will definitively validate this constitutive process.
The municipal government, together with the Gaindustriales company, has promoted this process in which it has integrated 37 owners of the plots of this industrial area of 2,5 million m² and in which large companies in the logistics and ceramics sector are located. In a staggered manner, the City Council will continue working on the modernization of the rest of the industrial areas to also obtain this accreditation that guarantees quality and better services.
In this regard, the Councilor for Finance and Employment, Salvador Aguilella, explained that “from this City Council we defend public-private collaboration to make a difference, improve services and create new jobs. We want to be useful to our companies to help them grow, to generate more business and jobs that result in a better quality of life for citizens ”.
Among the objectives pursued by the EGM are: to provide the necessary infrastructures and services for the efficient and economic, social and environmental development of activities; promote public-private collaboration; promote economic and administrative incentives, as well as joint services; and draw up a map that constitutes a true census of all industrial land. For its part, the City Council undertakes to carry out adequate conservation, maintenance, surveillance, cleaning and provision of basic services that entail an improvement and modernization of the industrial area, in addition to continuing to work, through the platform Onda Logistic, for providing the industrial area with a technological infrastructure that makes it one of the most intelligent and competitive in the country.
