Onda today hosted the presentation of the draft constitution of the second Management and Modernization Entity (EGM) of the city and the province of Castellón, which will cover the industrial areas of Trencadella, Corral Roig and Colomer. The objective of this meeting has been to advance in its creation, to trace lines of action and to promote alliances to increase competitiveness, achieve professionalized management and attract tax advantages.
The meeting was attended by businessmen and women who have been part of the Working Group, representatives of the City Council, and the company GaIndustriales by Romina Moya. The mayor of Onda, carmina ballester, wanted to thank the business network for its commitment to this project, since “your presence here denotes interest, a desire to improve your companies and a desire to grow. And that is something that unites us, because the objective of this government team is to promote your activity and that this has a positive impact on the city. And I think that together we are achieving it”, said the first mayor.
In recent months, since the first procedures for the constitution of the second EGM began, the promoter commission has been working on the preparation of the necessary documentation, as well as on the development of the Action Plan. Now, the next steps are the official constitution of the EGM, which is expected to arrive at the beginning of 2023, and with it, great improvements in areas such as larger and more regular investments, tax advantages and bonuses, increased competitiveness and professionalization.
But the project does not stop here, because "the commitment of this municipal government is to continue with each and every one of the industrial estates of Onda, to grow and consolidate this city as one of the best industrial destinations”, Ballester assured, because the constitution of the second EGM is not the end of anything, but the beginning of everything, and these public-private alliances are positioning Onda as a world reference in the ceramic sector and logistics center of the Mediterranean.
Sur-13, an example to follow
The project for the constitution of the Management and Modernization Entity in Trencadella, Corral Roig and Colomer, follows in the footsteps of the first EGM constituted in Sur-13. A public-private initiative that is producing very good results in the area, such as an increase in investment, improvements in services, modernization of infrastructure and, above all, is serving as a great incentive for the arrival of large companies that choose Onda to settle or expand.
